Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., phone systems, fax machines, computers).
  • Experience with hospital management software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
  • Compassionate, patient, and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance billing procedures is beneficial.
