Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, etc.).
- Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
- Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., phone systems, fax machines, computers).
- Experience with hospital management software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Compassionate, patient, and customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of insurance billing procedures is beneficial.
